St Lawrence Pre-School is a company limited by guarantee with charitable status, run from a multi-purpose building, the pre-school uses the main hall, a small room and has access to a fully fitted kitchen and its own outdoor play area.<\/p>\n
We offer education in a safe, caring and friendly environment by providing activities appropriate to children\u2019s age and stage of development<\/p>\n
We follow, like all registered childcare providers, The Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, which is a child centred curriculum that children work through at their own level of development. We provide a balance of child-selected activities and adult-led learning both indoors and outdoors.<\/p>\n
Our high ratio of adults to children, allows us to give each child individual attention and care. Children have a key person who will support them during their time at Pre-School.<\/p>\n
We have a positive approach giving each child and their family equal opportunities, regardless of race, colour, ability, gender, sexual orientation or background.<\/p>\n
We encourage social skills in caring and understanding towards others and the environment<\/p>\n
We are a predominantly Christian Pre-School that has an awareness of and celebrates other faiths and festivals.<\/p>\n
